KEW, SURREY (Southwark). The Rev. M. Cummins, of the Marist Congregation, was appointed to this newly formed mission in 1898. The chapel is a temporary one at the clergy house, 14 Kew Gardens Road. (Rev), 1907: The current church was built ca 1905. Lack of funds meant that the original plans were curtailed, with the church being completed in 1968. The Catholic church of Our Lady of Loreto and St. Winefride stands in the Anglican ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Kew St. Anne. There is no graveyard at the Roman Catholic Church, however older burials may have taken place at the Anglican Parish Church - St. Anne. There is also a graveyard attached to the Roman Catholic Church of St Mary Magdalene in Mortlake which dates from ca. 1852.
