The churchyard of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of St Mary Headley was surveyed by Alfred Bax in 1895. His notes are in the Library of Surrey Archaeological Society and have been filmed with permission of the Society.

Headley is a (civil) parisha Civil Parish is the bottom most tier of local government in England Sometimes called Town Councils in urban areas. Not all areas have parish or town councils.
