Ancient ParishAn Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions. of Guildford St. Nicolas in 1933. The parish name was changed to Guildford All Saints circa. 1968.
There is no graveyard at All Saints church. Older burials may have taken place at the former parish church, St. Nicolas or in one of the civil cemeteries. There are around 220 names from St. Nicolas in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index. West Surrey Family History Society has a list of names for the St. Nicolas churchyard, and an extract from Alfred Bax’s notes for St. Nicolas Churchyard taken in 1907.
