The Chapel ceased to be used for worship in 2012 and is now owned by a preservation Trust.

It was also known as the Charlwood Union Chapel

The chapel is located in the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of St Nicholas Charlwood. There are around 380 names from St. Nicholas in the Surrey MI Index.
