West Surrey Family History Society has just over 200 names for the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Compton St Nicholas in the Surrey MI Name Index. The inscriptions were copied by Sue Dawson for the Society in 1984. They cover the period 1694 to 1940 but there are many gaps.
